● Beyond the Picturesque
The reality of wildlife conservation in remote landscapes often falls short. Our hands-on experience shows a majority of projects struggle to make a meaningful impact.
The Untold Stories

Our involvement in conservation work and close observation of international wildlife protection organizations exposed a troubling reality: resources and efforts were frequently directed away from the crucial frontline where change is most urgently needed. This discrepancy highlights a significant gap in priorities, with remote conservation landscapes often being overlooked.

Conservation's Blind Spots

Many times, the projects implemented in the front line are ideas developed elsewhere, lacking a tailored approach to address the specific challenges faced locally. The main problem lies in the lack of purpose and accountability, as organizations are rarely challenged to provide evidence of tangible results from the projects they undertake locally. There exists an infrastructure of conservation efforts that needs to be fulfilled, yet the ultimate mission or goal of protecting wildlife and making a real difference for nature often remains a mere picturesque concept.

Call for Change

Throughout our journey with Now for Wildlife, we've witnessed the implications of untrustworthy conservation strategies and observed the shortcomings of a inefficient donor-dependent conservation approach. These issues pose a greater threat to wildlife than anything else, because the necessary resources exist but they are spent elsewhere. Our advocacy is centered on a modern, direct, efficient and honest approach to conserving endangered species in remote landscapes.
